Biography

Gordon Allan was called to the Bar in 1974 after obtaining an undergraduate degree and a law degree from the University of Toronto.  Immediately following his call to the Bar, Gordon co-founded a law firm on Bay Street, in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.  In the early years, Gordon ran built a thriving criminal law, personal injury and family law practice, eventually settling into on family law as his main area of expertise.  As a family law advocate, Gordon gave back to the community by volunteering on the board of directors at a number of woman’s shelters in Toronto.

In the early 1990s, Gordon opened a satellite office in Aurora.  Shortly thereafter, he relocated his entire practice to Aurora due to the exceptional demand for his services in the area, at which time his practice was expanded to include wills, estate administration and real estate.

In 2010, Gordon was pleased to have his son Jason join him in the practice of law.  Gordon has instilled in Jason the important values of client service and excellence, which were at the root of his success.

Over the years, Gordon has acted for many hundreds of satisfied clients in Newmarket/Aurora and the surrounding community.  He is pleased to see his son Jason follow his track record of success as he continues to develop the firm.
